Forbes Africa has announced its eagerly awaited 10th annual 30 Under 30 list in the April/May 2024 issue, marking a decade of spotlighting outstanding young talents across the continent. This edition features dynamic young leaders making strides in sectors such as entertainment, education, sports, technology, healthcare, and the arts.
This year’s list includes prominent Nigerians like singer-songwriter Fireboy DML, football sensation Victor Osimhen, Mainlogix Technology CEO Josiah Akinloye, Veekee James founder Ruth Erikan James, track and field star Tobi Amusan, and FXKudi CEO Abioye Oyetunji.
Chosen from over a thousand applicants, this year's finalists underwent a stringent selection process led by the Forbes Africa editorial team and Under 30 curator Chanel Retief. The process included a panel of independent judges and experts like Mo Abudu, Kate Kallot, Chris Maurice, Tlaleng Mofokeng, Helena Ndume, Desiree Ellis, and past Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 honorees. The evaluation, with support from audit partner SNG Grant Thornton, started in late 2023.
